About Us

Habitat for Humanity is more than building! Habitat is a people-to-people organization forming partnerships with community leaders, builders, suppliers, volunteers and Family Partners; and together, providing simple, adequate and affordable housing to low income, hardworking, local families.

Through volunteer labour and donations of money and materials, Habitat builds and rehabilitates simple, decent houses with the help of the homeowner (partner) families.

Habitat for Humanity Huronia seeks to provide the pride and responsibility of home ownership to low income families, and to work towards eliminating substandard housing one house at a time.

The ReStore is a retail outlet that sells gently used and new building materials, hardware, decor, furniture, seasonal items and appliances to the public at low prices. New material has been donation by our business partners. Profits from sales are used to build more homes for low income families. An innovative response to the landfill crisis.
