We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dietary Aide (Casual Part time) to join our team in providing exceptional nutritional support within assisted living, nursing home, or hospital settings. Duties
- Assist with meal preparation and food service, including serving residents and patients in a courteous manner
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards to maintain a clean kitchen and dining area
- Help with food handling, storage, and inventory management
- Support kitchen staff with basic cooking and food presentation tasks
- Ensure timely delivery of meals according to scheduled times
- Maintain cleanliness by cleaning dishes, utensils, and kitchen surfaces regularly
- Adhere to all health regulations related to food safety and sanitation
- Provide excellent customer service by attending to residents’ or patients’ dietary needs and preferences
Qualifications
- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospital, or food industry is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and serving techniques
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a caring attitude towards residents or patients
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus
- Basic understanding of food safety protocols and proper sanitation practices

Pay: $19.50-$21.15 per hour
