Muskoka Event Services is seeking a reliable and organized Client Services & Office Coordinator to manage our Barrie office. This role focuses primarily on assisting clients with event rental bookings, answering inbound calls, and maintaining smooth day-to-day office operations.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, providing great customer service, and staying organized in a small office environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Answer inbound phone calls and emails from event clients
- Create and manage rental orders using our software,
- Handle order changes, updates, and confirmations
- Assist clients with selecting tables, linens, tents, and other event rental items
- Manage will-call pickups and walk-in customers at the Barrie office
- Provide friendly, professional service to wedding and event clients
- Keep the office organized and running smoothly
- create quotes, orders, and edits for all our operations
Secondary Responsibilities
The role also support planning and coordination for the Dockside Festival in Gravenhurst, including:
- Vendor outreach and communication
- Assisting with sponsor coordination
- Helping with general festival planning tasks
Ideal Candidate
- Friendly and confident on the phone
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable learning software systems
- Able to work independently ( most days will be alone ) and manage a small office environment
- Customer service or office administration experience preferred
- Experience in events, hospitality, or weddings is an asset
Position Details
- Location: Barrie Office
- Compensation: $21–$23 per hour (based on experience)
- Hours: Full-time ( summer 9am-5pm, occasional weekends required) Part time (October- May 9am-2pm)
