Headliner JEFF McENERY
Jeff McEnery won the prestigious “Tim Sims Encouragement Award” in 2005, “Yuk Yuk’s Great Canadian Laugh Off” in 2006 and was named “Best Stand-Up Newcomer” at the 2007 Canadian Comedy Awards. Since then Jeff has gone on to become a headliner for Yuk Yuk’s and has made multiple appearances at every major Canadian comedy festival including the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, Winnipeg Comedy Festival and Halifax Comedy Festival. Jeff’s Comedy Now! stand-up special was broadcast on CTV in 2011. In 2015, he was nominated for ‘Best Male Stand-Up’ at the Canadian Comedy Awards and released his first solo comedy CD “Sunset Acres.” Jeff has had shows all across Ontario, including Sudbury, North Bay, Kitchener/Waterloo, London and more!
As an actor, Jeff had a lead role in the critically acclaimed drama Dog Pound. He was also a cast member on the Comedy Network’s sketch series Hotbox and has made guest appearances on Letterkenny, Covert Affairs, The Jon Dore Television Show and Naturally Sadie. Jeff’s short film Behind the Funny has aired nationally on The Comedy Network and he is currently a writer for the CBC’s hit show Still Standing.
Headliner Gilson Lubin
Gilson is a former MTV Canada host and Canadian Comedy Award winner as a stand up comedian. His comedy album Foreign and Legal airs on Sirius XM and has appeared on Comedy Centrals Premium Blend, HBO’s Def Jam Comedy series, Kevin Harts LOL Network and Comedy Now CTV.
Versatile with audiences the Toronto bred comedian is a mixture of storytelling and social commentary.
Featuring Mathew Lund
Matt started his entertainment journey in the world of Professional Wrestling, full time for 13 years travelling across North America as the comedy, slapstick wrestler. During this time he worked primarily for the National Wrestling Alliance, but worked in several main stream and regional promotions including a famed 2011 match where he teamed with Dustin Screech Diamond to beat Sheena Snively (MTV Live) and the Bushwhackers. After ending his in ring career, Matt began working as a Paralegal and in Canadian politics, while trying to break into the comedy world. Matt has appeared on Dragons Den, MTV Live, The Bachelor and Entertainment Tonight Canada. Matt has also shared the stage with comedy icons such as Brent Butt, Sean Collins and Gilbert Gottfried.
