Headliner Zabrina Douglas

Born and raised in Brampton, Zabrina Douglas is a comedian that draws from her experience as a Nurse, a mother, and the daughter of 2 Jamaican parents. “She’s one of the most exuberant and cheerful stand-ups working in the city. She can turn a whole show around by kicking up the energy in the room.” Steve Fisher of Torontoist.com.

Zabrina has been a regular and headlined Kenny Robinson’s legendary “Nubian Disciples All Black Comedy Revue”. She Created and Produces her Critically acclaimed show “Things Black Girls Say”. She has performed in well known festivals like Just For Laughs Toronto, The Toronto Fringe Festival, Slo Comedy Festival in California and The women’s Comedy festival in Boston.  Her work can be seen on Teletoons, The Comedy Network and CBC. She has shared the stage with well known comedians Gilbert Godfrey, Cocoa Brown and Luenell.

Freddy’s honest love for performing is evident each time he steps on stage, whether it be for an audience at a local community fundraising event, or in a New York City Theatre.

Freddy is a seasoned professional and has performed to adoring audiences, in clubs and theatres, throughout North America. His high-energy performance, combined with an array of celebrity impressions, has made Freddy an audience favourite.  He continues to delight fans by drawing his humour from life experiences and his Italian heritage.

Freddy has had the privilege of taking the stage at several prestigious theatres throughout North America including: The Markham Theatre, The Sony Centre, The Toronto Centre for the Performing Arts, New Jersey Centre for the Performing Arts, Boston’s Emerson Majestic Theatre, Staten Island University Theatre, Hamilton Place, Kingswood Music Theatre at Wonderland, Brampton Rose Theatre, Mississauga Living Arts Centre, Queen’s University Theatre (NYC), Long Island University Theatre and many more.

Freddy prides himself on being a Corporate Friendly Stand-Up Comedian, who engages the audience with quick wit and clean humour. He is a true professional on and off the stage.

Featuring Daniel Shaw

Collingwood local and stand-up comedian Daniel Shaw has been performing across Canada for the better part of a decade. From comedy clubs to theatres, and festivals, Daniel’s disarmingly absurd views on life and parenting has kept audiences laughing and slightly concerned. He has shared the stage with many of Canada’s greatest comedians such as Kenny vs Spenny, Rick Mercer, and K Trevor Wilson, and now it is time for him to blossom and find his own path, or at least a way to escape his toddler for an evening.
