Hosted by Linx Kitchen + Social, with Belfry Chocolates, Wine Journeys, D.C. Taylor Jewellers and Bradford Greenhouses Garden Gallery in support of the Busby Centre. Our FREE monthly BA5s are a great opportunity for the business community in Barrie to make new valuable connections and partnerships. Come and enjoy great food, cash bar, prizes and networking with fellow Barrie businesses.
Bring your business cards and some cash for the bar and tickets.
Linx Kitchen + Social
Linx is not a golf lounge. It's a social space where you can swing your heart out. It's not just a restaurant, but we serve up a mean dish. We elegantly present ourselves, yet, we're playful in style. And while we strive for perfection, we welcome all walks of life and encourage our guests to play, to laugh, to share, and to love.
Belfry Chocolate
Belfry Chocolates is a family owned operation and has been in business for over two decades. Formerly known as Aarden’s Chocolates, we remodeled and renamed the business in January 2019, drawing our name from one of Belgium’s most famous landmarks – the Belfry of Bruges. Originally our focus was as a traditional main street boutique chocolatier, but we have rapidly expanded our reach into the corporate and retail partnering space, in particular the alcohol industry.
Wine Journeys
Wine Journeys events allow wine lovers to slow down, connect, and experience the joy of wine and food pairings. These events always guarantee good wine, good food, good company.
D.C. Taylor Jewellers
Founded in 1895 by David Creighton Taylor, our journey began as a humble watch-making shop in Owen Sound. Today, we stand proudly as a family-owned business that has flourished through five generations. Under the capable guidance of his great-grandsons: Creighton, Paul, Jeff, and John and their successors Paige, David & Kieran. Our story is a testament to our enduring commitment to excellence and the nurturing of a family tradition steeped in the love for fine craftsmanship. Each member of our family plays a pivotal role in upholding this legacy.
Bradford Greenhouses Garden Gallery
With two locations to serve you better, Bradford Greenhouses is your one-stop-shop to fulfill all of your home décor and garden needs. Shop over 87,000 square feet of nursery stock at our Barrie location, rain or shine, in one of Ontario’s only indoor climate controlled nurseries. With thousands of varieties to choose from, our selection ranges from traditional to unique and ornate, you will surely find the right perennials, trees, shrubs, vines, or roses that best reflect your garden and sense of style. If you are in the market to spruce up your annual flowerbeds, our Bradford location boasts 10 acres of greenhouses where we grow and supply only the highest quality product to garden centres all across Ontario.
Busby Centre
The Busby Centre is a community not-for-profit organization working from a non-judgmental approach to advocate for and improve conditions for individuals and families within South Georgian Bay and the County of Simcoe who are experiencing homelessness or at immanent risk.
We focus on reducing the impact of poverty, homelessness, insufficient employment, addiction, and mental health challenges through a variety of services along the housing continuum. From street outreach, drop-in and shelter services through to our trustee, peer development and programs, we aim to remain housing focused as housing is a right for all.
