Join us on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 for our October Business After 5, powered by TD Canada Trust, at Georgian College in support of Georgian FoodLocker. Our FREE monthly BA5s are a great opportunity for the business community in Barrie to make new valuable connections and partnerships. Come and enjoy great food, cash bar, prizes and networking with fellow Barrie businesses.

Georgian FoodLocker 
Operated by the Georgian College Students’ Association (GCSA), the Georgian FoodLocker is an emergency on-campus food bank for Georgian College fee-paying students in need.

Our​ mission is to provide temporary relief to students who require food assistance while providing opportunities for food security education.

Goals

• Provide temporary relief to students who require food assistance
• Understand the barriers to food security that have necessitated students’ use of the Georgian FoodLocker
• Promote students’ food literacy skills; understanding the impact of food on health, and learning how to grow and prepare healthy, safe and nutritious food
• Recommend actions the college can take to increase students’ food security
