Our FREE monthly BA5s are a great opportunity for the business community in Barrie to make new valuable connections and partnerships. Come and enjoy great food\, cash bar\, prizes and networking with fellow Barrie businesses.\n\n\n\nGeorgian College\n\nGeorgian is MORE than an education it's an experience! We work with industry and community partners to offer relevant\, cutting-edge curriculum\, quality work placements and co-op experiences with top employers. Our students graduate with the skills and mindset to be innovative thinkers and changemakers who can transform their workplaces and communities.\n\n\n\nGeorgian FoodLocker \n\nOperated by the Georgian College Students' Association (GCSA)\, the Georgian FoodLocker is an emergency on-campus food bank for Georgian College fee-paying students in need.\n\n\n\nOur mission is to provide temporary relief to students who require food assistance while providing opportunities for food security education.\n\nGoals\n\n\n Provide temporary relief to students who require food assistance\n Understand the barriers to food security that have necessitated students' use of the Georgian FoodLocker\n Promote students' food literacy skills\; understanding the impact of food on health\, and learning how to grow and prepare healthy\, safe and nutritious food\n Recommend actions the college can take to increase students' food security\n\n\nFood for thought seriously\, your brain needs it!\n\n\n\nOur monthly Business After 5's are powered by TD Canada Trust
