In this webinar, the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) will provide an overview of the current state of the industry in Canada. This will include current challenges as a result of Covid-19 and priorities to address economic recovery. Within the framework of economic recovery, topics will include global demand and market forecasts, innovation, and Canada’s energy future. CAPP’s objective is to build relationships with, and address concerns of key stakeholders affected by industry. This includes advocating for informed policy and access to existing and new markets for the long term success of Canada’s largest industry.

About the Speaker:

Kelly McTaggart, Advisor, Community Engagement, CAPP
Kelly currently serves as the Advisor, Community Engagement for the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers, the voice of Canada’s upstream oil and natural gas industry. In this capacity, Kelly executes CAPP’s stakeholder engagement efforts in municipalities and business communities throughout Canada.

Prior to joining CAPP in May 2018, Kelly worked for Spectra Energy and Enbridge in Fort St. John, BC and Calgary in Indigenous and Community Relations for Major Projects. She has also worked in private practice providing consulting services for stakeholder engagement on municipal and industrial projects.

She is a transplant from Ontario and has worked across Canada representing resource development interests, and has called Western Canada home for the last decade.
