Join us for breakfast as we look at the steps you need to take and the challenges you will want to prepare for, as you set yourself up for successful growth in your business. These are the steps that have nothing to do with a business plan, and everything to do with planning.

Patricia Dent is a business mentor and entrepreneur who works with small business owners to design, launch and grow their businesses. She is a sponsor of The Creative Space and owner of Grow Vantage, a program that helps entrepreneurs learn to effectively run their businesses, build networks and avoid costly pitfalls that delay success. Prior to moving to Barrie in 2009, Patricia had over 20 years of experience developing strategic business growth initiatives across multiple sectors in for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. She was responsible for multiple sponsorship, communications and marketing roles for organizations such as Bell Mobility, Bridgepoint Hospital, Toronto Rehab Hospital, Ontario Centres of Excellence and the TSX where she transformed the original Toronto Stock Exchange Visitor Centre into a state of the art conference, media and event centre: the TSX Broadcast & Conference Centre. Patricia has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Marketing, CMP, P.CRM and coaching certifications. 

Patricia is a board member of Sweet Charity Medical Assistance Dogs and co-founder of Small Business Connect, a grass roots business networking organization. She is the past recipient of the Investors Group Business Excellence Award, 2013 and RBC Royal Bank SOHO Business Excellence Award, 2012.

If you haven't had the chance to make it out to any of our past CBBs, come and see for yourself what a great opportunity networking can be. Sponsored by The Mortgage Wellness Group, CBBs are held on the first Thursday of each month from 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM. Members are encouraged to bring their flyers, brochures, business cards and other promotional material to share and display. For a nominal charge, a full hot breakfast is served.

Please Register before 2:30pm on the day prior to the event. Registrations after that time may not be accepted.

If you are unable to attend, please call 721-5000 to cancel before 12:00pm on the Tuesday prior to the event. Those who are pre-registered but do not attend and have not canceled will be charged for breakfast.
