The Barrie Colts are very generously donating all proceeds from the tickets we sell to this game to Project Lifesaver Simcoe. Bring your family, bring your friends, bring your employees!
About Project Lifesaver:
This is a new Barrie Chamber initiative intended to help protect vulnerable people in our community who have a tendency to wander. The program uses receivers and transmitter bracelets that can be used to locate the wearer. We are raising $25,000 to purchase the equipment, with plans to launch a pilot project in Barrie/Innisfil fall 2017.
Project partners include Simcoe.com, Barrie Police Service, Barrie Police Service, Georgian Bay Volunteer Search and Rescue, County of Simcoe Paramedic Services, City of Barrie, and the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County.
