This month's featured charity partner is RVH Child and Youth Mental Health Services: The Need is Now
In Simcoe Muskoka, there is a critical need for more comprehensive child and youth mental health services. Since 2007, the number of days that children and youth have spent in the
region’s hospitals suffering from mental health issues has tripled. In fact, suicide is the second leading cause of death for youth in our region. Though the support of community, and in working in collaboration with community service partners, RVH is opening an eight-bed specialised inpatient unit, and launching new outpatient services and crisis support. Construction is underway and with the community’s help, RVH can change the lives of our youngest residents who are struggling with mental health.A special thank you to our Business After 5 sponsor:
