SUMMARY:COVID-19 UPDATE RE: CHAMBER ACTIVITIES
DESCRIPTION:Due to the evolving situation with the COVID-19 pandemic and our desire to keep our community safe\, the Barrie Chamber of Commerce has made the decision to cancel all March 2020 events (Business After 5 and Barrie Public Library Workshop)\, and the April 2020 Chamber Business Breakfast.\n\n The health\, safety and well-being of our staff\, members\, and community are of the utmost importance to us.\n\n We will be re-booking the venue and speakers in the coming months\, when the situation is improved. Those that have already paid for the breakfast event will be given the option to transfer the fees to the later scheduled date or receive a full refund.\n\n At this time\, the Chamber office will remain open\, although this may change as we continue to monitor and assess the situation. Any updates will be provided by direct email and on our social media channels as we all continue to do our part to reduce the spread of COVID-19.\n\n As we collectively work through this challenging period together\, we would like to share business resources that have been created to help you ensure that your business is prepared to manage through potential escalation of COVID-19.\n\n \n Canadian Chamber of Commerce Preparedness Website\n COVID-19 Ontario-Specific Updates\n Canadian Chamber of Commerce Pandemic Preparedness Guide\n Workplace Safety & Prevention Services Pandemic Preparedness Checklist
