The Barrie Public Library is celebrating the 19th annual Barrie Dragon Boat Festival this August- more information here.\n\nIn celebration of this\, Instant Imprints and the Library invite BA5 attendees to register to take part in a Learn to Paddle Session with your fellow business professionals. This 60-minute session is the perfect opportunity to try the sport of Dragon Boat in a safe and fun environment!\n\nLearn to Paddle Session starts at 5:15 pm July 19th with a mini on land training session. Following this\, paddlers will proceed onto the water in a dragon boat to enjoy a paddle on Barrie's beautiful Kempenfelt Bay.\n\nBe sure to complete the waiver form before arriving if you are interested in taking part. A Personal Floatation Device and Paddle will be provided.\n\nRegularly scheduled chamber social activities\, food & light refreshments will be available to those who do not wish to participate.\n\nBarrie Public Library encourages all paddlers to come dressed for the conditions\, including footwear. Paddlers must be comfortable in/around water. In the event of rain\, we will re-locate to the Barrie Public Library's downtown branch. (Please do not bring personal items such as bikes\, wallets\, purses\, backpacks\, cell phones or electronics\, jewelry\, etc. as there is no opportunity for secure storage.
