DESCRIPTION:IMPORTANT - CALL FOR BOARD NOMINATIONS\n\n\n\nDEADLINE: May 28\, 2018 * 5:00pm\n \n\n \n\n\n\n\nThe Barrie Chamber of Commerce has been representing business since 1926\, and enters its 93rd year with a mission of championing economic growth and quality of life by advocating for business priorities\, promoting collaboration\, and helping members grow. Governance of the Chamber\, direction of its affairs\, and control of its property is vested in its Board of 13 elected Directors.\n \n\nIn June of this year\, there will be 7 vacancies on the Board of Directors\; 6 positions for a 2-year term\, and 1 position for a 1-year term\, commencing at our AGM on Wednesday June 27\, 2018. These positions will be filled through a combination of nomination and election by the membership\, and by appointment of up to 3 Directors as needed to fill the necessary skill sets required by the Chamber.\n \n\nAre you integrated in our local community and interested in making Barrie an even better place to live & conduct business?
