\n \n | \n BOARD ELECTION NOTES: \n\n \n - Despite issuing the call for Board nominations during a lockdown order\, we are very pleased to announce that 8 solid members have stepped up\, ready to volunteer for Board positions. Typically\, this would mean an election to fill 7 seats\, however\, one of our continuing directors unexpectedly had to step down at the last minute\, leaving 8 vacancies. This means we are pleased to welcome all 8 nominees to the 2021-22 Board.
\n - Acclimation does not happen very often for our organization. Business leaders are well known for giving back to our community\, and helping drive our efforts. This year is no exception. Each of these people were nominated by your fellow members and are eligible to serve. They all have volunteer experience\, and we are confident that they will be able to work with our returning directors to continue building a Chamber that is responsive to the changing needs of our businesses.
\n \n\n ATTENDANCE NOTES: \n\n \n - The AGM is a closed meeting\, only open to the voting representatives of members in good standing\, and pre-registration is required.
\n - Members with annual fees due before March 31\, 2021 \;are asked to kindly come current by June 15\, 2021 so we can ensure their eligibility and voting rights are in place prior to the AGM.
